Project Car - Part 2

hey, I am the one with no mustang here....I want to be in the running

when I got the car, the mounts were gone. Everything, including the brackets that mount to the frame. I have some ordered from a mustang boneyard, but until then, we made up our own from bits and pieces of what we had in the shop.

I was just wondering since the 250 is taller than the 200 if it would affect hood clearance.

If you promise to send em backwhen you are done or when you get your boneyard peices, I'll mail you the '69 250 frame and motor mounts that are out in my shop. I am sort of holding onto them for a future project. Good score with the boneyard parts, I've had nothing but strike outs trying to find replacement motor mounts, I've called a multitude of parts stores, and quite a few mustang only wrecking yards.

Oh My God! Awesome Overload!!!!! Drool!!!!! So awesome! I so cant wait to get something like that in my mustang! But unlikely...its probably goin to cost an arm and a leg. ; ( Hopefully Mike makes the price for the head within my reach and the turbo kit also! ; ) That would be so awesome to pop the hood at a car show and take all the attention away from the bent 8s! Hehe! ; ) That is such a warm and comforting thought.

Great Job Mike! Cant wait for the dyno numbers!

First, I did not make the Vegas show. I've been working so many hours lately, that I haven't had time to work on the car, or go to shows. I came down with a flu bug (or just plain exhaustion) Thursday and wound up canceling my trip.

I post more info as soon as we get it running. Will (does10) has been helping me, but he has been to busy the past few weeks as well. And now, I have him building three more motors, which are similar in build. Two of them have to be completed by mid Nov, so the 69 may just need to wait a few more weeks. Customers come first.
