Puzzling Problem need help

bent needle? that's odd.

I was able to find a rebuild kit at autozone, though i had to drive out to folsom to get it since the guy at the counter didn't know when his freight comes and doesn't so he told me the wrong time to order it by.

Installed the new needle and seat and everything is working great .

Still a little wierded out by how it would have happened though.
