I just acquired a 200 from a 68 stang I been reading about the port dividers but the head on this one has plugs for each of the exhaust ports and is casted with 3&4 divided with the same size ports as the rest is something different or what casting # is C8 ESfalcon

The letter is the decade: C-60 decade, D-70 decade, E-80 decade.
The number is the year in the decade.

C8 would be a 1968 design. This casting number would have been used until the next design change.

Also, post pictures of the head. Sounds interesting.

Not sure how to load pictures to the forum but if you could give me your email addresses I could email you the pictures

esfalcon I edited your links so they would work. Looks like a nice head.

I seem to remember someone on here mentioning having found one before. They are fairly rare though.

My C8 200 came with the same type of divider. I'm quite sure it was cast that way but can no longer check to verify. I got rid of the head when I rebuilt the engine and went with a D8 head for my offy set up.

For a second I thought that was normal. My head has the same things but I think it's a 64 head. Never really looked at my other one
