QUICK QUESTION HELP A FUTURE TURBO PERSON....PLEASE

I was looking at the local ebay scene, and saw that there isa new garret turbo off a buick gn. I was just wanting to make sure it is supposed to be a .48 A/R for the blow through. I will look this up after I am posting this, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks, Tommy

.48? Sounds a little small to me!
We're using a .58 turbine housing on Kelly's Falcon. A .69 will work too.

thanks, I just saw one on ebay thats new and its only 120 buy it now. Thought I had found my treasure, but I guess I'll have to keep looking.

Im using a GN turbo, or will be shortly, but I dont remember the A/R on it to tell the truth. Send me the link and I can tell you if its the right one or not. You want a later 80s GN, not the 84 and under I believe it was. Mine is off an 87

man those are some crappy pics...

doesn't look like an early GN turbo (slip on inlet on compressor)

either way I would say a .48 in a T3 frame is too small.

Dont get it, its not even a GN turbo, GN turbos are Garretts. Keep looking. Here, check these sites out and ask for a stock turbo, its where I got mine. Had TONS of people try to sell.
