First the #3 Problem. If it wasn’t missing before then changes are it' a bad plug i.e. not firing. Change it and check for the mis. In any case fix the mis first then move on to your stumble.

White plugs mean you’re too lean. Around town driving especially with your incident of flooding would lead me to expect brown to dark brown plugs. The best way to fix this is by changing your main jets. Go two steps richer at a time. To check to see if you’re too lean or rich you could take your car to a shop to have the exhaust tested i.e. a smog check station or a shop that specializes in carburetors.

You should also secure that choke so it don't interfear in your testing proccess.

that was what was happening.. I went to the parts store and I had 9 dollars cash and my debit card... and I get paid tomarrow so I just decided to get a set of 6 plugs and I put em in and the car is like a new car.. it idles soo much better and smoother at lower rpms and I DID A BURNOUT (braketorquing) which was unthinkable before... I did it and never went over 25 when I left (speed limit 30) and some guy runs out into his yard and yelled "SLOW Down" progressivly getting qieter as he saw I wasnt goign anywhere fast... it was cool had both tires then when I drove away it went into 2nd and only 1 spun Ill go take a pic fo the mark... IM SO PROUD!!!! though burnouts are illegal... and not safe...

hehe... that made my night... and in 2 weeks I should be going to the track again... Ill try to see what I can get done before then... I guess the passenger side spun less than I thought.. but it did spin...

Thats cause you dont have posi. Nice row of rubber!

I would never do that in my Falcon. Id die if it died. I did it once when I had to burn off the old stickers on the 1960s BFG Radial 60s. They were so old, the tread sticker was melted on.

Trust me, I left ALOT of smoke. So much, a guy where I did the burnout drove to my house 3 blocks away, and impersonated an officer WITH a badge. Luckilly my neighbor knew who HE was and told him to get the hell out before she called on him for a felony charge.

Yeah, pretty weird. I told her why I did it, and she completely understood.

Hahah, now that I think about it, I felt like a bad boy teenager again! ahahaha

well I still have my hesitation issue and the turning bogging deal which was expected as turning wouldnt make the sparkplugs not work... so I raced a couple cars.. one supercharged one not.. both mustangs after a club meet and it was close... at 60 the supercharged one made sooo much noise and took off soo fast... it was great... I felt as if I was sitting still... or maybe in reverse.... and just for assurance I did another burnout (just to make sure it wasnt a one time deal) and it only did a one wheeler... was fun though

well I was thinking about this the other night....doesn't the 500cfm carb have 50cc pump in it? the 350cfm carb only has the 30cc accel pump....too big a squirt would def make it fall on its face off the line.
