can anybody tell me the stock 250 pre crossflow journal specs on a standard cam, is it 1.810"

If you need the cam bearing specs, say so because that's a fun one. Not! Usually they need pulling and measuring.

Unusual that they even need work. Ive only ever replaced thay after acid bath attack. To measure use a telescoping gauge and micrometer.

I went through hell and back trying to get the right cam bearings, back in the days before I worked in spare parts. The guy kept on giving me iron head crossflow bearings. It was about 6 sets later that I asked on this forum and got the right ones first go. Also, if you can, get them pressed using the proper tool, putting them in yourself usually ends up damaging the bearing.
