Ok today I received the carb to manifold to mount the RBS Carb on my 250 Maverick. Well, the adapter fit the manifold and carb base. So I took off the old YFA and EGR adapter and added the RBS. Then noticed my throttle cable wont work. The throttle arm on the carburator is at an angle below the the YFA's arm. So back to the YFA for now. Any suggestions to getting the linkage aligned correctly? Are there different RBS configurations? If so, which one will work on a 76 Maverick. Thanks
Ken

I have an RBS on my 74 Maverick ... bought it at the auto parts store. I told them it was for a 1970 which used the RBS ... works fine and no linkage issues.

I am using the Factory Maverick throttle cable if that is what you mean. No changes. I did remove the EGR plate and replace it with a 1970 plate since I removed all the emission stuff from the car when I put a new engine in.

I don't have any pictures handy with the air cleaner removed but if you want one I can take one ...
