I'm ready to install my rebuilt 200! Finally!

It's been sitting in storage for about six months and sense I have a nice long weekend with good weather, I thought it was time (that and the Code enforcement nazis are coming around again).

But before I crank it over, what are some of the things I should do? Right now the only lubricate in the engine is a little lithium grease I used during the rebuild process. Other than that - it's dry.

Anyone? Tricks? Suggestions?

Thanks!

PRIME the oiling system prior to start up! You shoud be able to get the oil pump drive that goes into a drill from Auto Zone. This is a lot better than a DRY startup. It does not take much time either on our little 6's.

Other than priming the pump, check to make sure all the hard to reach bolts are snugged up (oil pan, etc) and I would check and make sure that no little critters has made a home in it.

Take some pics also!

Doug
