Well The winter project has come together. Here is the run down

"8 inch rear out of a Maverick. Four Lug. Geared to 3.25

Rebuilt T-5 out of a turbo coupe

Engine.

Late model block.
0.30 bore. 0.10 under crank main and rods. Block was decked 0.20 rotating mass balanced. ARP rod bolts. New FSPP balancer, dual timing gear and chain and a ARC-268/274 (110*) Hydraulic Dual Pattern cam

The head is a late model head. cc to 52 new valves and heaver springs

Holley 5200 carb. Still working on jetting and power valve but pretty close.

Ignition. New Mallory dual point centrifugal advance tied into a Mallory Hifire ignition system.

Now the problem. Every time I put the pedal to the floor the rear wheels break loose never did this before

You have obviously built a low traction engine by mistake. I will swap you a special high traction model for the low traction one. I wouldn't make this offer to just anyone. But if you act now I will throw in some slicks to help with traction. I spent a lot of time and used a lot of gas to prepare these slicks but I willl include them at no extra charge. 8)
