In the process of rebuilding 65 Mustang that has 77 head (D7BE) if I remember correctly and it has what I've identified as a Carter YF carb.
I purchased a rebuild kit fot the carb bit in the process of removing the pump cover from the inside, I damaged the pump cover to the point to where it is unusable. Should I start trying to locate another old YF in order to get that part or just forget the Carter and buy another from for that year head from Advance Auto? Ps- This will not be a Concours car.
