Recommend a spark plug

What is your favorite spark plug for use on a carb'd 300 with a Mallory Unilite distributor and an Accel "Super Coil?"

Platinums any good?

I've been runnin' (Autolite - Platinum) AP-45's for the last 183,000 miles in my 300-6. ( Carb'd, stock ignition). The platinum tips hold the gap MUCH longer. I think I still have my last couple of sets, changed out after 40-50K or so - they still look serviceable!
