We've always called it Aussie, but there are a fair number of NZ, Tasmanian, and Aussie folks here. Is a name change in order?

When did Tasmania secede from Australia? I don't recall any civil strife...

Seriously, I think the name's fine, it represents the fact that these engines are Aussie built. But let's hear what those folks across the sea have to say.

Its OK to be lumped in with the Aussies , were the other little islands of the bottom of Australia .The name is good as it is .

Jack, just call it the "51st State of America", and then see that Aussies, Tassies and KeyWees are all tarred with the same brush!

Kiwis never made Falcons, they just screwed them together (with no emission equipment!).

If you can do add Kiwi and Aussie and Tassie Forum, you'll have to have a Language Translator!

I'd suggest keeping it as it is. Enough of us have died together on other peoples soil, fighting other peoples wars, and from the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840 until 1905, we Maoris and imported people were all technically Aussies, if we like it or not.

(Hey, any way Jack, why doesn't the American Flag have six extra stars for

American Samoa,
Guam,
Virgin Islands
Washington, D.C.
Northern Mariana Islands
Puerto Rico ? Huh?)

There's a modest amount of 265 hemi and 186/202 tech which sneaks in under the radar here. Plus the body/model specific questions that come up. I think also Zuid Afrika deserves mentioning in my comments here.

Suppose it really comes down to how the target group is framed. As long as it doesn't end up with people comparing (abusing?) virtual CCP's.

hey we make the best ford 6cyl motors in the world here "DOWN UNDER" if you change the name make it something like "UNCLE SAM WANTS OZ ENGINES" i say leave the name, its good the way it is.at least if anyone in the usa wants to build a tough engine they know where to go!

Jack, you could call them Geelong or Broadmeadow sixes but that's too confusing. Stay with Aussie sixes we all know what it means.

Gotta stick with Ozzy 6's, New Zealand didn't do any work at all in design or devopment, we just banged them together from the parts sent over by the ozzy's (And we didn't do as good a job as them!)

They are Ozzy 6's & we should keep it that way.
