Ripped a hole in my log ;) (w/pics)

My idle jets might be a bit small as occasionally there is a little stumble off the line. I feel it would run better off the line with slightly larger jets. But then on part throttle cruise around town, it runs a wee bit rich, like 13:1. So I can' go smaller on the idle jets, but I can't seem to lean out the part throttle driving. Might have something to do with emulsion tubes?

Oh, I just had an idea on yours. Maybe the difference between yours and mine has to do with what i said in my earlier post about having two small holes in my adapter versus one big one. Perhaps you are not getting as strong a "signal" to the carb at idle and so you need to but a little more fuel in to keep things running.

BTW, I have found that the car idles better at around a 13.5:1 reading that at straight stoichiometric.

falconfanatic, I'm emailing you a copy of the Spreadsheet I've posted for the 32/36 carbs. How about you make the corrections or tell me what to correct? I remain, however, afraid of running too lean (15.1) on the highway. The way I see it, the 15.1 is an average of your two trios of cylinders. As such, I'd expect 3 & 4 to be richer, and 1 & 6 to be much leaner. :? I just hate burning valves and pistons.
