Rocker Arms

I have just had the head rebuilt on my 1966 170. While looking over my valve train I noticed some of my rocker arms were worn very badly. A couple of them are actually chipped. I have looked at all of the parts houses. Napa, Schucks. Nobody sells stock replacement rocker arms for our engines. I know FSPP sells roller rockers but, I don't have the money for those right now. Anyone know of a place that carries the stockers? Or what rockers can I make work with my engine? It is completely stock except for a rebuild. This is the only thing that is keeping me from getting it running. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary

Gary,

I have had the very same problem over here; obviously stock rocker arms for our small sixs are currently discontinued. Luckily I could find a set of TRW rockers, date coded 1985, long before they went up in FederalMogul.

I´m distracting, so check this out:

the shaft is still available through pioneer, and usually gives out before the rockers. Mine virtually eat through half of the shaft, and their ID was still within specs!

Try looking for a rocker shaft assembly. My 250's arms and rockers were unbeleavably worn, and I found the entire shaft assembly for less than $90 from a local place called MRC. Top quality stuff.

I can get them, no problem. In fact, I have one set of stock non-adj in stock. Prices for fully rebuilt assemblies are as follows:

Non-adjustable (1.5 ratio) - $75.00
Adjustable (1.5 ratio) - $85.00
Adjustable (1.6 ratio) - $275.00

I'll post them on the website this weekend. I just didn't know anyone was looking for them as I have never had any request.
