On my 200 when I changed the valve cover gasket or the silacone that was there. Not only did I find nut shells under it, but I found non adjustable rockers and when I tried a bleed test on the lifters I found I had no movement at all I believe it may have solid lifters.

Solid lifers with non adjustable rockerarms would be a bad combination.
If your engine hasn't been run in a long time, I'd suspect that your hydraulic lifters are "empty" and are bottomed out.
Solid lifters need a small bit of space ( lash) because they grow in size as they heat up, that's why they use adjustable rockerarms on solid lifters..

The engen has been a daily driver is the lifters should be pumped up. The valves and too tite for hydo lifters

I think it's that lill plastic inside some models that R like a lock washer i.e. same as nylocks? ? ?

Hey -
I'm about to clean up the whole rocker assembly at the parts washer. Found some secret additive I'll buy/add 2 my buddies' tank. Is there a numbered gun barrel brush or sompin I need to buy to get in any kinda hole in the apperadius (if so what size)? Can it all B reached from the outside w/ a paint brush or sompin? Do I need to B concerned about "cleaning too much" (I wont use power) w/a wire brush or anything?

There was real nut shells like the mouse did not eatbut in the engen, based on that I don't trust any thing on this engen. And for the bleed down of you apply pressure to a lifter it should take so long to blead down a easy test to see if any are not pumping up.

I think the appropriate drill brill works well for that. I found berrymans carb dip works wonders on the rockers. The shaft likely needs replaced anyway but I'm sure it works on that as well or a can of brakleen

Hi Chad.Go to your local gun shop.Take the rocker shaft with you.Look for a bore brush that is a sorta snug fit in the shaft.Get the cleaning rod that goes with the bore brush.That will clean the interior of the shaft very well.Get the BRASS bore brush.More than likely,one for a shotgun will be the best fit.Works a treat.

Hi Chad.Have used that method of cleaning for decades.The rifle brushes are great for the in block oil passages too.

Jeez, those sound so large. I'll hafta take a look at the rocker assembly, I thought it'd be tiny holes…
He's got it propped up on the washer cover, today I p/u some kinda additive ($9.00) to boost the 5 gal of solution
that's in the machine, today.
