can anyone who is running the roller tip rockers or full rollers give some input? is there a noticable seat of the pants difference from the increased ratio? the C.I. description says there is an increase in the low and mid range which would work for me. the tripower motor comes alive in the mid and high range but is a little soft off the line even with the cam degreed 4 advanced.

8) most engines see about a 5hp increase in power due to the more consistent rocker arm ratio, as well as the higher ratio. some engines will gain enough to make a difference in feel, others wont. it all depends on a lot of things.

That advanced cam is giving you less bottom end pull moving the power band up the scale try straight up or maybe 2 degrees. Edit I am wrong it's the opposite giving more bottom end

Dont ya have that backward Bubba? Advancing the cam generally moves the torque curve lower in the rpm range and sacrifices a bit of top end power.

Thanks, I really want to upgrade to the roller rockers but may go with the roller tips . I do'nt want to have to change the lifters or plug the oil galley in the top of the block for the full rollers.
