Just decided to use the Ignitor II on my otherwise stock 200.

Any suggestions on what brand cap and rotor I should use? I have been faithful to OEM parts, but I am willing to sacrifice for better performance.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, if you are going ignitor 2, just go get a stock cap and rotor. There aren't many options for the stock dizzy.

BTW, what part of Western Mass?

i had a problem after the installation, such as rough idle & stalling. i even bypassed the in line resistor to the coil for a full 12 volts & still had some problems. i reinstalled the ignitor 1 & have had no problems since. advance auto parts carries a upgraded distributor cap. hope this helps . go to pertronix web site for further information. v/r william :D

Ok, so any rotor and cap will do...having a hard time finding Motorcraft outside the dealer...

I noticed a difference in the rotors I 've used. Some have a shorter contact on the end, others have a longer contact.

I want to give the Igitor II the best possible componants, so I want to be sure...

Go to Advance Auto Parts and ask for Bule Streak distributor cap and rotor. They have brass inserts, alot better than oem junck. Russell
