you dont really want to reduce rod length to reduce compression.
as the rod ratio is pretty bad as it is in the engines
decreasing rod lenght will add more side loading stress on the cylinder bore walls
best bet is to get dish top pistons acl make them and come in hyperuretic type as well. which (dispite what acl claim) handle high boost situations.
(a friend of mine is running the acl hypers in an ea that pumps 2 bar of boost and generates 540rwhp.and my own will be devoping 740hp fwhp with them as well)
also grind out the bowl in the cylinder head to drop the compression a bit as well.
and i have heard of ppl running 2or 3 head gaskets (yeah....its dodgy i know...)
