Side Draft Carbs

Has anyone milled the side of the log and used side draft carbs? Would this work? Has anyone tried using a 90 degree manifold adaptor (placed on top of the log) and used a side draft? Would there be any benefits?

Yea, Check it out. One of these designs is what I plan on copying. Seeing how I now have a spare head and engine lying around...

I would REALLY like to see it. Small Webers or Dellortos would seem like a great choice.

Speedy I was not able to recieve the link you posted! I am very intrested with the idea of turboing six side drafts if possible. Please try the link again.
