Simmons wheels

Hello all,

I have been offered a set of 16inch Simmons wheels + tyres to suit my wagon... I am not sure what style they are but the price is very good. A friend told me they are soft around the edges and bend easily when you drive through potholes and such. Has anyone else used these? Any problems?

Simmons are 2 or 3 piece wheels.
The centre of the wheel is bolted to the rim by lots of allen key bolts on the centres outer edge.

The "rims" are alloy and simmons in general are a performance wheel so theyre really light.

Light and alloy means great handling and braking and also means "braking" in the no-more simmons sense.

Thanks Tcsteve.. I spoke to Simmons and the bloke there thinks they should be OK. I might keep them for a while and then offload them when I find something else.
