Small Air cleaner for Holley 1940

I just got the straight monte carlo bar from NPD. It fit well, only the stock air cleaner on my 65 coupe is in the way. I remember seeing someone had a little tiny k&n air filter assembly on their car in the forums, anyone know of small air cleaners that would fit?

Thats exactly the one I was talking about. Do you think you can give me some details on where you got it? 8)

thanks,

I know it's small and I get rations of crap about it being a lawnmower air filter..but...it's a K&N for a car engine.

I went to K&N online...chose one of the vendors on their web site and looked up the exact fit and height I needed. They have a slew of filter styles you never knew about.
If I can be of any additional help, let me know.

It was $39

No difference in engine performance.

think... top it off with one of them louvered crome mushroom-type air cleaner hats we used to see on strombergs and other 1barrels back in the day, and I bet you´ll get thumb ups by the very same people that have been laughing about the K&N first.

There's not really much room up on top of that 100 for anything except the stock recessed base air filter or something as thin as what I have. Plus finding the correct throat opening in a good looking air filter is near impossible. I've tried.
I guess I don't want to fabricate one from scratch right now as I've seen some other inliners do.
Cheers,
