Quick question...tried to drive my car up onto ramps today to make a repair underneath.

Worked the gas and clutch a bit as I didn't want to go up the ramps and over the back side of them. You know the ramps, the ones that go in front of each tire.

Anyways got halfway up and my clutch starts smoking. Did not feel i was slipping it that bad at all.

Has anyone had their clutch smoke like this? Could it be from oil or grease on the clutch itself? Is it normal. I had the clutch replaced two years and maybe 1500 miles ago.
My old clutch:

8) it can ahppen when you overheat the disc. you likely took about 10,000 miles of life off the disc, and might have clutch chatter problems developing as a result. i know i did when i over heated the clutch in my old F250.
