Just wanted to share what happened to me this week end. Daughters 67 stang started missing real bad. Just finished rebuild on 200 bout a week ago. Spent time checking the regular thing and found nothing. Pulled plugs and found #2 wet and not firing. Look and looked found nothing again. Pulled pertronics magnet wheel and found the green tape band had fallen off and let one of the magnets come off. Little super glue and everything is good in my daughters world again. Dad to the rescue

I had that same problem, but I had 3 of the magnets pop out.

You're lucky putting it back it. They do have a correct orientation (meaning you can put it in backwards) and it seems you got it in right. I found that out after I put 3 of them back in and they still didn't fire. Then I called pertronix and they informed me about the specific orientation.

I did get lucky cause i would have had to peal the tape off with all that super glue. Now i can get back to my poject
