Looking for different size accel pump jets for my Holley 5200 / Weber DFAV 2-bbl.

Searched ebay and google, came up empty, all I could find were DGV accel pump jets - will they work or are they backwards? (I forget if it shoots into both bores or just the primary.)

Hey! You've got a HW 5200 in your Ranchero? How's it working out? What adapter are you using? Got any pics?

Inquiring minds want to know... 8)

l3n,
Thanks for the link, I've got an email off to them asking about just the nozzles.

page62,
I got my Holley 5200 (aka Weber DFV) from Tom at Stovebolt, along with his 2-1 adapter. I'm in the middle of jetting it with a wideband oxygen sensor, and loving it. My mileage is already much better than the Autolite 1100, and it was a pretty good carb (it's for sale if you're interested).

Mine is currently mounted sideways with the float towards the valvecover side - so I can use the stock throttle linkage. If you do this, be aware that when you turn left the fuel sloshes, sending the Air/Fuel mix WAY rich - turn hard enough and the engine'll stall out. The only solution is to keep lowering the float level until you can live with it, which will likely affect the jetting. OR you can do like I'm planning, and snag a junkyard cable-throttle setup off a later Ford, and turn the carby float-forwards like it wants to be. Won't look stock anymore with the throttle cable, but the AFR will stay where it's supposed to.

Info? You asked for it!

Speaking of jetting one of these, I HIGHLY recommend getting some sort of wideband oxygen sensor. These carbs are really sensitive, and you can really see what's happening a lot faster with a good wideband Air/Fuel setup. I'm using a JAW, outlined in this thread: http://fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44705

If you have any other questions, let me know. (And when you get ready to tackle it, just load up all your parts in the back of the Ranchero and head north.... :D )

You have a PM about the carb. One of these days, I'll do the HW swap. Then again, I want to do a stout 200 swap. One of these days... :?

Regarding the pump nozzles...I'm a moron.

I was looking for a smaller nozzle, 'cause my accel pump makes the AFR go way richer than needed.

Took the carb off and apart for a thorough cleaning / kit job, and found that (1.) I've got a single nozzle, and (2.) you adjust the accel pump by moving the pivot pin on the pump arm (DOH!) :bang:

Moved it from hole #2 to hole #1, and it's much better.
