Spark Plug Firing Order On The Distributor Cap

I replaced, distributor, wires, head, etc... I have three questions.
The firing order for the head is on the head and all the books,

1. What is the matching order for the wires that plug into the distributor cap?
2. Does it go clockwise or counterclock wise. If you could send a drawing with the cap marked with each number. Thanks.
3. Where is the ignition timing marked? Is it on the harmonic balancer?

From the distributor it goes in a clock-wise direction. If everything was installed correctly then I believe the #1 cylinder will be somewhere in the bottom left quarter of the cap. To find out exactly you will have to remove the #1 sparkplug and rotate the engine until it is at the top of the cylinder and the valves are closed, then remove the distributor cap and check and see where the rotor is pointing.

Timing mark is on the balancer, although the outer ring can slip on the inner ring, so it's a good idea to verify the mark is correct when you rotate the engine so that the #1 cylinder is at the top.

#1 on the cap is close to 6 o'clock.
The firing order is clockwise 1-5-3-6-2-4.
