Stovebolt adapter doesn't fit

I got my stovebolt adapter, and it didn't fit right. Maybe somebody else has had this problem. The 4 mounting holes to go on the bottom of the carb are not aligned correctly, so I can't even get the bolts through the holes.

I looked at drilling a new hole, but if I screw it up, I have to buy a new one; If i send it back, it is going to cost me shipping I bet. :-\

Any suggestions? Anyone else had this problem?

Nope, it's the right one...Just about 1/4" off alignment, and I don't trust myself drilling it. Not that it's hard, I just don't want to screw it up and lose $15.

Have somebody else screw it up for you. Then it won't be your fault that you are out $15. On the other hand, it is just 1/8" on each side. You can do that with a fat drill bit sideways.

True could do that. well, I guess I will talk to Langdon, and see if he cares if I try to drill it. If he sends me a replacement, I may just do that.

8) talk to them, i am willing to bet they will exchange it. i bought one from them, and it fit the carb i bought from them perfectly.
