Hey all,
About to pull the non-functional AC Compressor out of my '65 and get it rebuilt. Figured that while it's out, I'd drop in some headers... and worry about fitting the compressor back in another day
Here's my question. The car is just gonna be a spirited street driver, and it's never gonna see a quarter mile track. I definitely dont need full length headers. But, what do yall recommend for such an application? I was thinking about the ones from Classic Inlines. What finish? Is stainless worth the extra 140? I dont think that a ceramic coating is worth it for my application... But I'm not an expert by any means.
Further upgrades are gonna be a Weber carb, ported/polished head, gonna cam it eventually... But again, nothing too aggressive. Never gonna be a quarter mile demon, just something I can enjoy.
