Alright... I've noticed that my stock setup with modified head:
just won't work.
originally I have a stock 170 setup, but with the rebuild and cracked head, my 170 block now has a 250 head (D8BE?)
Engine being rebuilt, I think the carb is the next step towards some more power.
What carb setup is suggested? I have the autolite 1101? 1100? (stock 1964 170 setup - Modified adapter to make the smaller carb fit the larger bore manifold hole)
do you think a 2V would be good? or what should I go with? Any suggestions? I want to try to keep the linkage the same, but I'm open to custom linkage.
