hey all the perth fellas... anyone have spare sump plug for a 250 motor that they might like to part with for a small amount of $...... also the closer to ballajura the better

They are no longer available new. You are best advised to ask assistance from the nearest Commodore V8 driver. Have him cling underneath the car with his thumb jammed in the plug hole, while you drive around looking for a new unit. Watch those speed humps.

i think id prefer there were no holden drivers near my car at all! hahaha

what was a simple service has turned into a pain after i stupidly lost the sump plug! bastard thing! damn that murpheys law!

Mate, I can't suggest the unspeakable as the GMH ones have different threads. But yours will be the same from 1961 onwards... Probably even to EL.

Has it fallen in the oil?

yes!! and i disposed of the oil before i remembered to get it out!!! last time i did and oil change it fell in that time too.... but that time i forgot to put it back in before filling it with new oil!!!! and i was surprised at how much oil it was taking before it even registered on the dipstick!!!! hahah very embarrasing! and left one hell of a mess!

yeh im right now.... i went and got a new one this morn $3.50..... auto one had them.... i just had to leave it till today... rather than finish it yesterday
