supertrapp

Anyone ever used a Supertrapp muffler out of a single outlet header. I may be interested in the functionality of just having a single exaust rather than the duals. Any input would be appreciated.

I was wondering the same thing. I had one on my 78 mustang II, with a hot 2.3, it sounded like an angry bumble bee.

Yeah! I like the angry bumble bee sound too, but have only hear a supertrapp on some Hondas n such. My intent is for a 200 in a 64.5 Mustang. I'm going for a really non-conventional type of style and wanted something funky for the exaust. An angry bumble bee in a mustang would do it. Kind of like Snoop Dog playing at the Ozfest--wouldn't that be funky!
Supertrapps are tunable and a very functional way for flow it being a single exaust, plus those supertrapps are massive looking and come in satin black or satin stainless. I think it would look cool coming out the passengers side cause they're so perty.
Peyton--did you find that the tuning capabilities of the disks really changed the tone on your 78 Mustang II.

Sure, you could put just a few discs on there to make it quiet or a lot of discs for more sound, or remove the endcap altogether so its straight-thru. I was wondering about it for my 72 comet with a 200. I was running a header and 2 1/2 pipe into a satin finish supertrapp on the mustang.
