Swapping Dizzy's

What do i have to do, in order for a 68 dizzy to fit my 64 block?

Most likely pull the old one out and stab the new one in... is it still a points dizzy?

8) the later dist should swap over with no problem. however 1964 was a transition year and thus you might find the same deal i had with my 64 170. if your engine was made before dec 31st near as i can tell you might have the smaller dist shaft and need to mod the block or the new dist, and change the oil pump and driveshaft ot the larger new style ones.[/u]
