T3 and 170

Have a 170 i would like to try a put a turbo on. This motor will be in a Econoline pickup. I want to use the econline to haul my 66 mustang to the track.
I have a Garret T3 turbo. Will this unit work?
Can i use the stock Holley 1908 carb?

well I don't think your 4 main 170 will like much boost AND haulin a car. how far is this drive to the track? on a trailer or dolly?

Trailer, track is oh 35 miles away.

I reckon this could be made to work quite well.

If that towing's the main use of the vehicle, it's possibly steady-state operation and you could build with that as a focus. Sure, not zippy off the line but a little more power per pound of fuel burnt making it more economical.
