OHChicken, Did you happen to get any pics of the early 50's hudson in the other building that had a hopped up six in it?
 
I never noticed that... I should head out there again as I dont seem to remember much of what I saw... the one thing is th 8 carb setup he has for a 331/354 hemi, all 2v carbs, and thats only because my dad has an Identical setup for one of his... oh that and bob riggles (I think) wheelstander, one of the latest times I went out to bradenten for racing there was a big six on a rail, was running 9's, I think I took/posted pictures of it.. wait no I gotta video.... gah I am off topics again... Tommy
 
I just cant get over the weight. When you start to add the engine, trans, diff, and things like wheels, tires, brakes and such. WOW just then you have to think about how to built the frame. :!:

Also went over to the link for the engine on the 308 Hudson Jet drag car.
Noticed single V carbs have Holley float bowls. IIRC a company called "Manifre" (or something likr that) made these and claim results equal to fuel injection..
