Thinking about transplant :idea:
Mill in my Ranchero needs going thru, 65 200 leaded motor need input
have Pertronix II ignitor Clifford six into two header with port devider to be installed. also changeing from manual three on the tree to C4 auto
also end up with two bbl H/W and a small cam to help it all work
head is hang up have hard seats installed and guides? aquire later model head? Other ?? Is it worth while to rebuild an 80 model Fairmont 200 as the base for these mods or is it as tough a platform as the 65 block? I have no ready info about the later model 200 Would appreciate
your input I am going to have to spend some$$$$ But would starting the build with a motor that is already an unleaded head and I assume the bigger log a better bang for the buck Thanks.. :roll:
