Throttle cable conversion for '63 Falcon?

Has anybody done this? Is there a particular car that I could track down that has the parts I need? Or a aftermarket company that makes them?
I'm putting a Holley 350cfm 2 barrel on a 250 and for simplicity sake would like to convert to a cable. Fab'ing up a linkage doesn't look like fun!
Thanks,
Will

Heh Will, I have put the throttle cable in my 63 comet, supposedly the same thing. No problems, I just took the cable out the car I got the motor out of. It was an 83 ford LTD with a 200 bb in it. My question to you is, how are you going to install the 250 in your 63 falcon with the rear sump oil pan?

I don't have the rear sump pan. It's a front sump. Looks just like the one that was on the 170, except it's a little larger. Should fit fine. Right now my main concern is with the motor mounts. But that should just be a modification to the stock stuff.
I'm taking pics as I go so I'll post them sometime.

To get the 250 in a falcon, you need V8 front suspension. Then the motor will fit with hte factory oil oan..

Thanks for the info Will. I'll be looking forward to the pics. Why do you need the V8 front suspension Deebo?

I used a gas pedal off a 86 Mustang and the throttle cable off a 92 F-150 300 6 ci with fuel injection :D

I tried a cable off a 78 Fairmont and it was way to short and a throttle cable off a 82 F-100 w 300 6 and it was usable but was just a little shorter than I liked it :D :D

Doug

Probably the easiest, not the cheapest, cable setup would be a Lokar cable.
They and other companies sell brackets to mount to a Holley
You can use the pedal from alot of mid to late 70's Fords
