Throttle plate leaking fuel

I noticed after running the engine, there is fuel leaking from the choke side of my Holley throttle plate. I pretty much know it from the throttle shaft area. Is there something I should have done after I removed the choke? Is there a spacer or something I should have added, or is my throttle plate just worn out? Is there a rebuild kit to fix this? Again I only noticed the leaking after the engine is shut off.
Thanks,
Ken

Ken...I'm assuming you removed the entire choke assembly that was screwed to that side of the carb. There is at least one of those holes that you need to plug...if you stick a small piece of coat hanger or something similar you can check which holes are blind and which are not. I always just take some short screws, dab a little high temp silicone on each one and screw them into those openings. That should fix it.

There is no direct route anywhere on a Holley that would allow fuel there , BUT , if your float level , Float sticks or float is too high it will drip out the booster run down till it reaches the throttle plate then weep to the outside , THAT is what you need to check , Like Gene said there is a Vacuum port exposed if its not plugged , But that wont leak fuel

The leak happens after the engine is shut off, give it a couple of minutes, then the fuel leaks from the throttle shaft onto the manifold. I have ordered a 1/2 inch carb spacer from Classic Inline. If heat is the problem, this should fix the problem. Of course, I would appreciate any help that you offer.
Thanks,
Ken

Have you checked the condition along with the setting on the needle and seat? , a 2300 Holley is plenty tough , but dirt , wrong float level will cause problems more so than a heat soak (on that Holley anyway ) float level should have the fuel just below the sight threads for a street car ( I like to set them so a gentle rocking can get it to dribble but no higher )

Falcon,
I have the float level 1/8" below the level setting, as suggested by Holley's Technical site. The last thing I can think of is a cracked throttle body. (I do have a second one).
I have swapped 3 different needle/seats with no change. There is a new throttle plate to body gasket, so it cant be that.
Please add any other ideas that I can try.
Thanks for your help,
Ken

Problem resolved. After changing 3 needle/seats, multiple float changes, power valve plus gaskets, adding a fuel regulator and gauge set at 5 psi, new filter and finely calling Quickfuel, great technical help, problem resolved.
The metering block gasket wasn't seating correctly and the fuel was running into the vacuum port into the engine and along the throttle plate shaft onto the manifold.
Thanks for your help,
Ken
