tray chopped

had a thought the other day about turning my xf ute into a tray back has anyone seen this done? what is involved?
would it be hard work or would you just go through alot of abrasiflex cutting discs?

Its not a full chassis, so without a lot of reo it will fold.

is it possible to remove everything and be left with a bare chassis? im pretty confident in building the tray myself (ive built weirder things before) i just need to get it to a bare chassis so i can see where i need to go and what to do.

There is no bare chassis under there. Just a folded U section facing up. I've seen one cut to tray level; ugly.
