Im looking for a blow thru carb for the 200. You guys have any sugestions on which one i should use. Also is there one that could fit the clifford adaptor cause that would be nice if not back to the machine shop.

5 to 12 lbs of boost is what ill be running if that helps at all.

Easy! Holley 2300 2v. Either 350 or 500cfm.
Just need to get the solid Nitrophyl (sp?) float.
The carb is easy to modify, tune, and a few different company's make carb hats for it.

hi,
so all you did to yours was change the float? Did you get rid of the choke assembly? Any other mods? I know with like the 4 brl double pumpers it takes much more too get them to work.

Like what? go to www.toohighpsi.com and check out what he has done. Even though it's all V8 stuff the physics is still the same. He took a 4160 Holly and added a stop in the return linkage to make it a mechanical secondary. He has run deeo into the 10's at 130 mph on two turbo, a stock 351W, C4 and 2.83 gears. Slicks of course.

Yes, I did cut off the choke horn and removed the entire choke assem. The reasons I did it is for better flow and clearance under the carb hat.
Another reason is that you would loose some boost pressure because of the space around that little rod that controls the choke butterfly. I had to fill this hole in with JBWeld.
Other than those two items the carb is stock.
I didn't "boost reference" the base plate like the above article says to do. We currently don't have a leakage problem around the trottle shaft that this is suppose to remedy. If we do develop a leak, then I'll do it.
