turbo choice

I have a 66 stang with the 200 ci straight six. I will be buying the turbo header that does10's has. I need to know what turbo will be optimal for me. I have swapped in an 8" rear with 3.55 gears and a Borg Warner T5 tranny off an 87 stang. I will be using prolly a 264 cam, a holley 2300 500 cfm carb, and I had the block zero decked. This car is going to be a daily driver in the summer so I am prolly only going to run 8-10 pounds of boost. I am sort of new at turbo and was wondering how you control the boost? Also, should I use an intercooler? What can I expect as a guestimate in 0 - 60 time and 1/4 mile time? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Motown,
How's it hangin'?
Looks like you've got the drivetrain set up pretty good! Those gears are great for a turbo.
Check you compression ratio. Needs to be around 8.5-9.0:1 to be OK for pump gas with desent timing and boost levels.
The turbo you need is T04. Find one that has a wheel that's smaller than 60mm or so. It's very important that you get an "ON CENTER" turbine housing. If you get a "tangial" housing nothing will line up. If you need help finding a turbo, PM me. I've got a few connections.
The boost is controlled with a wastegate. You'll have to purchase one to bolt to the header. I recommend the Turbonetics Deltagate. It's realitively cheap and mechanically adjustable. It's also adj. from the cockpit if so desired with a boost controller.
An intercooler is a great idea. An Isusu NPR is a good one to use.
What's your fuel system setup like?
Your 1/4 mile time should be around the high 13's easily at around 3000lbs. of car/driver weight. Our Falcon at 2800lbs. is running high 12's and we're shooting for the high 11's.
Later,
Will
