Value of a 200 head??

: What is a fair price for an 80’s 200 head that has no previous modifications, just stock and most likely needs to be rebuilt? : There is one in the "Buy" section of this site and from the pics I received via email the head is covered in rust and the valve cover is probably not salvageable. I plan to rebuild the head to improve the performance of my '68 200. I am not sure what to offer.

Not much.
Not sure ware your at but Pull-a-part lets them go for $25.00 you pull. In Washington, north of Seattle.
I picked up a running 4 door maveric with a 200/c4 for 200.00
Drove it home and pulled the front end for a 63 fairlane and the motor/tranny for the wifes 63 falcon.

I would be hard pressed to pay more than 50 bucks for one.

I've gave mine away for free to a local guy...

I'd say $50 if local, or $25 you pay shipping.
