Circa 1970:
Is the crank in a 1970 200 internally balanced?
Is the Crank in front of an automatic the came as the crank in a standard?
I have a horrible driving vibration that is NOT the driveline, it's likely the clutch or the flywheel or both...
Specs: 1970 200 1V (from a Maverick) in my 1961 Falcon Moredoor, with what I believe to be the original 202 3 speed.
The vibration CAN be stopped by sidestepping the clutch at around 70 MPH.... It don't alway's work to stop it though...
I removed the tranny twice adn the clutch in one day and both times the vibration was gone for about 3 to 7 miles even when I was hot rodding it and smoking the tires, but it alway's came back after that time.
WHat's going on here? Anyone?
I'm converting to a 303 soon but I don't know which flywheel and clutch to buy to fit the 10 spline shaft of the 303 and I don't know which car to get the correct tranny yoke off of.
