He is in Australia and might be able to find you a good working head, or point you to someone who has one. Since you're looking for just a normal one to get you on the road and not something exotic, it should be easier to find.

antique: 250 2V iron head (XY or model 2.4, from Oct ’70)...

Not me (possibly others - my income is listed in this country as “extreme poverty”)
the 3.3, XC 1976 intro of x-flow...
Not sure but 'a mass buy’ here might include several palitized together for partial savings. A
local vendor might help but it is not my place to require ur choice of business model. Good Luck !

Volvo put 1 in, may B as they’re all mini cars? Want
to have FWD/transaxle up frnt/behind that axel? I think
the really sm car could have rear engine/frnt transmis or
transaxel w/the weight (me!) to have a ‘well blanced’ car...
 
I got an email from Matt last night that said the head packages will go on sale tonight at 5 Eastern. How many plan to step up and buy from the first batch?
 
That is exciting news. Well outside the budget I have for my car (I have another Mustang that still needs to be assembled, painted, etc, and that ain't gonna be cheap), but I'm really happy that these parts will finally be available again for people who want and have the budget for them.

Seems like he's got quite the waiting list, and even if some of them back out, I don't think he'll have a problem selling the first run of these.

I guess
1) a separate co who machines to tolerance,
2) may B a 3rd that “assemblies” w/valves, keepers, springs, etc.
3) They may B the ones who’ll P&P to your request (I C he offers that)?
4) Only one carb pad available (a 4 hole for 4v)?

After 1) above I wonder if a buyer can take the head and complete - ina different way
i.e. as in our “Ideal build thread” - beehive or double springs, different valve/geometry, etc?
Would one wish to get it before 1) above is done?

Not buyin (but AM ‘interested’) so not lookin real close~

@ 1 point I saw “i honor all the pre-orders (last several yrs?) 1st"
but also “U must ‘re-up’..." in other cases. My thought?
To ‘get on’ it will take several yrs if starting now~

‘sell out’ can mean several things w/a (backlog) list this long

I also wanted to say I am very excited for the announced modified oil pans, hopefully with baffles front and rear and enlarged sump, that would be great imho

Finally some more speed parts for us inline six fanatics :)

And big thanks to Matt for staying on it!!

I missed that.
I saw the ol, stock, 170/200...
Love ta C a cast, like the modern motors,
or welded alu plate (esp w/the wings and baffle U mention).

Can U say more? on the “...modified oil pans...” you mentioned above?

Hi guys. I read through this post and it's hard to say there was anything not true!

Chad - thanks for your unwavering support!

I have 50 new castings and machining starts soon. He has to finish his first op fixture.

I can order more castings whenever I need to, I just want to get this first run under my belt.

I took orders from the original list before I opened it up on the website Friday, but I sold the number I needed to in 45 minutes!
