Yes, I use a light coating of silicone sealer, too much and it will just ball up as you tighten the bolt. Any decently stocked hardware store will have the bolts you need. Just be sure to match length and thread pitch. Torque spec is 12 - 15lb ft, so even grade 3 bolts are more than adequate.
