so, i just slapped the YF that i pulled from a '70-something F100 onto her... i'm not sure if it's the timing or the carb that needs playing with, pretty sure it's both

what would be needed to get the carb itself to work if i was just swapping carbs over?

Evan,

maybe a rebuild, and base setting.

No carb manual, no problem: Try a rich mixture first, then lean it out as you play with idle speed and idle mixture.

i was thinkin that i'd need a rebuild at the very least, but i was a lil too eager to get the carb on there and get it runnin

i was able to get her to run once i figured out the choke and set that almost completely closed
but then she warmed up and now i realize that i need a new radiator... at least three pinhole leaks

hey evan, I have a yf rebuild kit that i don't need, also a '72 yf if you need anything from it let me know.
