What are the steps to getting the choke set at the proper position? I'm looking for the "How to adust the choke" section in my Ford service manual, but can't find it. Thanks
It's electric? If so, a generally good starting point is to set it so that it is lightly but fully closed when cold. Then run it and try it from there with further adjustment if necessary.

Yes, it is electric. This is the procedure I was planning to use:
With the engine stone cold, push the throttle to the floor for a second and then release which sets the choke closed.
Loosen the cover screws and turn until the butterfly is completely closed, tighten screws.
Then start the engine and warm fully and the choke should be fully open. After tapping the throttle a couple times to release the choke arms from cams.
That is what I do. Also, the high-idle speed screw can be adjusted for cam engagement. I set mine so that it runs about 1500 rpm at first and then kick down to about 1200 rpm and then to curb idle speed...just don't care for it to race at 2000+ rpm when cold.
