what is the max you can get out of it?

The Aussie head, with headers is probably in the 75% range. A little head work might get you closer to 80%

what about with cold air intake or ram air has it been tried?

that stuff is only worth a small fraction. Your big factors are going to be carburetor size, intake manifold design, and flow through the port and valve into the chamber. The same goes for the exhaust side.

what is the peak RPM for the 250? i used 6000 RPM and that would make the amount of cfm out to be about 430 cfm...( cid x peak RPM / 3456 ) i got this from another forum...how to check the cfm or something thats needed on an engine...so if u were to get a 4-500 cfm carb, port polish and get a header, raise compression....add a 100 hp shot o Nox 8) ?
