This board is mostly about the old inline six engines used from the early 60s to sometime in the 80s. You're more than welcome to hang out here, but I'm afraid you won't find a lot of specific expertise on your V6. I'm sure one of the other members will jump in soon to recommend a web site more tailored to your car.

Cheapest and easiest way is to throw in a K&N Airfilter, better milage too. Other than that you will want to ask at one of the new mustang boards.

Pick up the latest MM or M&F. There is a small writeup in the readers write-in sections about late model V6 mods.

V6power.net

The first thing to do to a V6 is to put on duals. Get a dual adapter from Pacesetter or make one up, and install a V8 system. It's worth 10-15 hp.

Another site you might want to try is http://www.therangerstation.com It's mostly for Ranger pickups, but they use the same engines as the later model Mustang II's.They have LOTS of info about power mods for the various V6's. Plenty of people hotrodding trucks, and several of them are old Ford engineers.

8) start by installing 3.73 gears and the pacesetter dual exhaust conversion. then if you want more save your money for a vortech supercharger kit.
