went to my local exshaust guy today asked him for a price on installing my new headers
he quoted $100-120
is this about right i would very much like some feedback

Depending on what type of headers they are and what there going in. Some headers require a bit of gentle bashing to make them sit right .Basically its a case of taken the old manifold off ,scraping off the old gasket , bolting the headers on and simply weld the flange on.It shouldnt take more than 2 hours ,so going by your figures $50 bucks an hour sound about the usuall, may be slightly on the high side. I changed from Hurricane to pacemaker in about an hour,so someone in the trade with experence and airtools should be quicker. Its only 12 bolts and a weld.

Gidday XT ,i cant give you any performance updates as i havent run with them yet .I just put them on and the wagon just sitting waiting for me to get off my arse and finish it.I got the pacemakers cheap as we import them into NZ , when we placed a large stock order i got a set in without having to pay freight out of OZ. The fit of Pacemakers is excellent with no problems fitting and the welds and finish are a lot better than the Hurricanes .If looks equalled horsepower the pacemakers would win by a mile.I have a new photo of the headers i will post soon.
