The eternal debate with no real answer.
It's all preference. Performance wise, they are all much better then points IMO. But that's because I include minimizing maintenance as a performance category.
I prefer DS2 over all of them. I've never tried the DUI from mike and knowing the quality it is up there, so my following statement is made with that in mind. I wanted parts that could be easily obtained over the counter from any generic autoparts store. DUI and Pertronix can not. This all stems from one night when I was 15 miles from home and started having some issues with pertronix. Limped home and then had to wait 4 days for replacements parts. (It was actually partially my fault, it wasn't a Pertronix failure 100%).
But that's because my mustang is a daily driver so I want easy to find parts. DS2 and parts can be found at any auto warehouse or if I'm really hurting just about any junkyard. Part of my personal philosophy for this car. I try to minimize exotic parts. I know, Oz 250 head. It was converted to all US spec valves and gear. Everything. My Disc brakes are coming from a 1965 GT mustang. So, my only exotics are the MSD and the T5 and those aren't too extreme or hard to find.
