Wierd Science H2O2 Injection

The Me163 Komet used a 50% hydrogen peroxide solution. I have also seen some film of the 2 fuels being mixed. They laid out a dish with some of the "part a" and used a dropper to drip in a little of the "part b" and the result was an instantaneous explosion.
The rocket motors used in the Komet were simply a combustion chamber with some valves at the front and a pump on each type of fuel. When the valves were opened and the 2 fuels mixed, the result was one fast little aeroplane. They were too fast for the guns they had, and often would fire one shot behind another aeroplane, and the next in front of it. They had about 6 minutes of powered flight, and used to shoot straight up and glide down.

When i worked a crane a few years back, i remember a older tech guy who was telling me he had a double engine dragster with no feul pump of any kind. (this was in the 60s) It had a small pressureized fuel tank. he also stated he and other racers used to experiment with all kinds of fuel additives. i remember him telling me about one called "piric acid". The one thing i remember him saying was after a run he had about 3-4 min to drain the tank or else. Guess he never wanted to see what "or else" meant. this he was told to do by the chemical co that sold it.

The Germans were not the only ones - the US also used hydrogen peroxide in some tactical missiles developed in the late '40s and early '50s. But, fueling was a very serious issue, as even random fumes from one element were enough to set off the other if the wind was wrong.
They were never used in combat situations, mostly because of these difficulties.

I think the 'piric' acid is really 'puric' acid, a fuming acid. Nasty stuff.

If you want to experiment, try this: add some drugstore-brand peroxide into water (25% by volume) and add it like water injection. I use a hydodermic syringe stuck into a vacuum line that goes to manifold vacuum for water injection and it works well.

At least, it would be safe.
